About me
I'm an associate transportation planner at Metro, working under the federal Safe Streets for All grant. I moved to Portland four years ago from Los Angeles after completing a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and an M.S. in Urban Planning. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley meant wide roads, fast traffic, and streets that were not built with people in mind. Portland showed me what thoughtful investment in bike and transit infrastructure can do for a place people call home.
Public health taught me that harm is preventable when systems are designed with people in mind. That principle guides my work in transportation planning. At Metro, I focus on crash data, safety tools, and the stories they tell about our streets. I'm always glad to connect with others working toward safer communities.
