The 2026 Oregon Active Transportation Summit brings together government practitioners, nonprofit leaders, private sector experts, and community advocates to advance innovative solutions in active transportation and public transit. This annual event provides a platform to share best practices, tackle pressing challenges, and explore strategies that drive safety, equity, climate action, and community mobility and connectivity.
This year's programs and presentations will be organized into four tracks: Collaboration, Storytelling, and the Case for Investment; Funding Transit and Safe Streets; Micromobility and Emerging Technologies; and Safe Routes to School. Many of the sessions will be eligible for AICP credit via TREC, our co-hosts (see their provider summary here). More info forthcoming.
Hosted at the Portland State University Smith Memorial Student Union in Portland, Oregon’s multimodal downtown, this year’s summit will feature compelling keynote speakers, roundtables with lawmakers and decision-makers, and advocacy updates from coalition partners statewide. The Street Trust will also hold its annual meeting and elections during the summit.

Meals:
- Light snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the day at PSU on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Wednesday: lunch is not included. OATS attendees will get lunch on their own, enjoying numerous options inside Smith Memorial Student Union and nearby.
- Thursday: purchase a ticket for the OATS Innovators Luncheon with VIP Speakers--if you didn't bundle it with your summit ticket.
- Friday: lunch on your own as you enjoy offsite tours, mobile workshops, and the Safe Routes to School Annual Meeting.
