About me
Paul has been a life long car free and car lite person who started in advocacy as a grassroots Community Organizer in college.
After College, Paul worked around the Twin Cities as a municipal code inspector for rental licensing, construction, permitting and code compliance while working part time at bike shops and substitute teaching.
While studying to go to school for regional planning/JD double degree, Paul started working full time in the bike industry in 2014.
Paul began working for Dero in 2015 and has since designed and implemented hundreds of bike rooms for 10s of 1000s of people's bikes from Bellingham to San Diego, worked with cities to develop area bike parking plans and work with property managers and owners to retrofit bike parking into old buildings all while meeting local code.
Paul and his partner organize regular community rides to Portland Farmers Markets to support, share and grow local food systems.
Paul is the Board Chair of Community Cycling Center, on the board of directors for The Street Trust, a founding member of BikeLoudPDX 501c3 and secured the seed money for the Ride2Own pilot in the Portsmouth Neighborhood.
