About me
Jeri Stroupe is the Safe Routes to School Infrastructure Coordinator with the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), where she advances traffic safety and street design projects that make walking, biking, and rolling safer and more comfortable for students and families. Prior to joining PBOT, Jeri spent six years as a transportation planner and consultant with Nelson\Nygaard, leading pop-up safety demonstrations, student transit pass programs, policy development, and community engagement across the West Coast. She also has experience in community and economic development as a Wayne State University Detroit Revitalization Fellow. Jeri holds an advanced degree in public health management and policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Her work blends project coordination, infrastructure delivery, and collaborative partnerships to support equitable, community-centered mobility solutions that help the next generation move safely and confidently.
