About me
Indi Namkoong is the Transportation Justice Coordinator for Verde, an environmental justice non-profit organization based in the Cully neighborhood of NE Portland, Oregon. Indi’s work with Verde blends policy advocacy, coalition building, popular education and leadership development to address the root causes of the transportation injustices that impact Cully and other low-income communities of color across Oregon. Verde is a core partner in the community-led 82nd Avenue coalition that has been advocating for the corridor's transformation from a dangerous state highway to a multimodal main street.
