About me
Ashley Bryers, AICP, is a transportation planner with Burgess & Niple based in Portland, Oregon, with a professional focus on Safe Routes to School, active transportation planning, improving safety, and long-range planning. Her work centers on helping communities create safer, more accessible walking and biking environments for everyone through thoughtful planning, policy support, and community engagement. Her prior experience was with the FHWA Oregon Division Office where she was the Planning Program Manager working with Oregon's 8 MPOs and the Grants Manager aiding local agencies deliver federal projects. She helped 13 Oregon jurisdictions sign their Safe Roads and Streets for All (SS4A) agreements with FHWA. Before that she was a transportation planner at Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) for ten years where she worked with local agencies to deliver projects.
